The Origin of Universe – This is a super interesting question and probably the biggest mist of our time. For a long time, people have been trying to figure out where the universe came from. It’s a really big and difficult question that lots of different kinds of smart people have thought about, like scientists, philosophers, and religious leaders. As a physics student, I would go with the theories given by my mentors, i.e., scientists who think that the universe started with a big explosion, called the Big Bang theory.

The Origin of Universe – Outlook

The Big Bang theory says the universe started really small and hot about 13.8 billion years ago. At that time, the universe got bigger very fast, became cooler, and changed into what it is now. This expansion is still happening now and will continue.

The theory only informs us about the early age, evolution, and subsequent expansion, and it lacks information on the origins of the singularity and the trillion-dollar question, i.e., “What caused the existence of our universe?”. This story is only about how all the things we look at in the world came to be and got larger with time. People like me who study physics want to know how the universe began and why it exists, but they don’t have all the answers right now. How long it will take to get to the crux and factual answers is also not known.

Some physicists believe that there could be many other worlds out there, i.e., the multiverse. A multiverse is when there is more than one universe, and each universe works in its own way with its own rules and laws. Scientists are talking about whether there are other universes, but they don’t know for sure yet if they are real or not.

Science can only give explanations based on evidence, but it might not be able to answer questions about how the universe began due to a lack of solid evidence. There are different beliefs, either related to religion or philosophy, that try to narrate the story to help explain how and why the universe was created. This is explained through ideas like a god or principles that can’t be physically seen.

Big Bang Theory – Scientific Model

We have some proof that the universe began with the Big Bang theory. This is a science idea that talks about how the universe started and grew.

The theory says that the whole universe started as a very small and super hot point roughly 13. 8 billion years ago. Everything in the universe, including matter, energy, space, and time, was squished together into one tiny point.

The universe started very small and then quickly grew much bigger a long time ago. As the universe got bigger, it got colder. This made tiny things come together to make bigger things, like atoms. Atoms joined together to create stars, galaxies, and other space things.

Too much research on a theoretical basis has been done and is still going on, and those experiments have helped to find some proof. The cosmic microwave background radiation is a significant piece of evidence. There is a dim light spread throughout the entire universe. This energy is from when the universe was very hot and full of power at the start. The “cyclic model” or “conformal cyclic cosmology” has been studied to explain how things in the world work by Roger Penrose and Vahe Gurzadyan.

This idea suggests that the universe does the same things again and again. The universe begins with a huge explosion called the Big Bang. Then, over a very long time, it evolves and changes. Eventually, it will come to an end with a big collapse known as the Big Crunch. And then there’s another big explosion called the Big Bang, and it happens again.

Some other thought processes suggest that our universe came from a crash or link between other universes or objects in higher dimensions. They call these ideas the “ekpyrotic model” and “brane cosmology.” The notable point about this theory is that these new ideas are not yet commonly agreed upon by scientists and are still just theories. Many people believe the Big Bang theory is the best explanation for how the universe started, and there is lots of evidence to support this idea.

In brief, theoretical physics has enormous potential and usefulness in driving scientific progress, igniting innovative technology, and enhancing our understanding of the world around us. Scientists and philosophers are still very interested in studying how the universe began.  It is crucial to note singularity is a place where the rules of physics don’t apply and can’t be understood. Where a very tiny and very hot point where all the matter and energy in the universe are concentrated. This singularity is thought to have existed before the expansion and evolution of the universe as we know it today.

Conclusion : The singularity is just an idea, and we don’t know much about it. Some things called “singularities” happen when things get really crazy, like in the middle of black holes. There, gravity is so intense that stuff ends up squished into a point that’s infinitely dense. These unusual events cannot be seen directly and can only be examined through math and theories. It means studying how many atoms act together in a tight space. Physics is very important in our everyday lives because it helps us understand the world around us. It helps us develop new technology and learn more about the universe.
